Meet  our  Parents  and  Wedding  Party

We're excited to bring together friends and family for our big day! Our wedding party includes our brothers and friends from both high school and college. The UP and Lansdale and MIT -- all rolled into one.

Of course, our wedding wouldn't be nearly as special without the inclusion and support of our parents. Thanks Mom and Dad for your continual support. We love you!

    Maid of Honor

Kate and I met early our freshman year of college at MIT, sharing many memories through our...

sorority, in late-night conversations, on trips, and trying to make it across the finish line as roommates senior year (waking up to the smell of Kate's coffee machine made those college mornings that much more bearable). Despite geographical differences post-college, we've stayed closest of friends, with a 24/7 stream of messages keeping us connected when a flight or train trip can't be made. I couldn't be happier for Kate and Tony, and am so excited to be a part of the their day!

    Bridesmaid

Kate and Danielle met as sisters in Alpha Phi while at MIT where they developed a deep...

appreciation for late night chicken nuggets. Since graduation, they've stayed friends throughout moves across the country and the Caribbean, ultimately both winding back up on the East Coast, where they frequently terrorize the streets of DC.

    Bridesmaid

Whitney and Kate have known each other since the only social thing to do in the suburbs...

was go to the movies. So, for a long time. She is the only person who didn't see right through Tony's "surprise party" ruse and thought it perfectly logical to celebrate the end of mock trial.

  • Tracy  Takemura

    Bridesmaid

Tracy and Kate met during the freshman year of MIT when joining Alpha Phi together. Throughout...

years of sharing dresses (not shoes though – Kate’s feet are extremely small), helping each other find lost jewelry, and spending quality time caroling on the cold streets of Boston, they developed a strong friendship that would continue beyond college - even after Kate dragged Tracy on a hiking trip against her will. Tracy moved to New York City after MIT and has been a city girl since.

    Best Man

I've known Tony since we were just kids. Growing up he was always like a big brother to...

me. Even though after high school we've ended up hundreds of miles apart, he still tries to watch over me like a big brother should. I'm excited to be by his side during this joyous time. Sidenote from Peter when sending this to me: "I got nothin'. 10% funny, 60% lame, 30% aww."

    Groomsman

I have known Tony for as long as I can remember -- we were born two weeks apart. Since then...

we've laughed and fought our way to a great friendship. It hasn't always been easy (see: faked neck injuries, CCD abuse, stolen passwords), and the competition has been fierce (see: GPA, ping pong, wedding dates) but it's always been interesting. It's been a privilege to get to know Kate, and I applaud her as she marches bravely into the madness.

  • Jimmy  Zhu

    Groomsman

Jimmy and Tony became friends sophomore year of college in hostile times - while most...

people in their friends were selecting respectable majors , both Jimmy and Tony picked the easy "Management Science" major to breeze through college. Bound together to defend the intellectual rigorousness and real-world application of their choice, Tony and Jimmy became great friends through this adversity. Since then, they've roomed together, worked on various projects together, traveled together extensively, and continued to champion their decisions.

While Jimmy and Kate's friendship has been shorter, it certainly has not been less powerful; realizing that it took a tough person to be the better half of Tony, both Kate and Jimmy have survived a number of escapades together.
